Martin is a corporate & private security specialist & qualified instructor (PTLLS Level 4) with proven experience in, executive protection, hostile environments, event security, travel intelligence, security, physical risk and crisis management, business resiliency issues, managing & training ERT (Emergency Response Teams) in the European & Emerging Market theatres.

Martin is a former Royal Marine Commando (Counter Terrorist Team MATICO) taking his experience and solid background into the civilian sector operating globally in the security and investigations industries in the USA, EMEA and APAC theatres including hostile environments.

Martin has also been the principal close protection officer and security advisor to members of British and foreign Royal families, diplomats, blue chip companies, CEOs and celebrities. He has developed an expertise in managing security issues in a dynamic atmosphere of uncertainty and change, working across cultures and responding to the sensitivities, local customs and laws relative to security and business issues. During his career he has built a vast global network that has supported many critical operations and situations enabling business continuity during times of crises.

Martin spent over 5 years at Cisco where he was a manager on the Global Protective Services team where he provided & managed executive and employee close protection (globally), Intelligence, Travel & Security Awareness programs & Business Resiliency advice for European & Emerging Markets.

Within Cisco, Martin moved across to the Safety, Security & Business Resilience (SSBR) department from Global Protective Services and was operations manager for Europe and Emerging Markets where he played a major role within the Crisis Management team, supporting Cisco business, executives, employees and assets enabling business continuity during times of crises.

Martin was also responsible for Security Concept Design, enabling office set-up (in support of FM/Workplace Resources) in Low to Extreme risk environments. He managed a team of 7 direct reports and their respective teams (140 contract employees), a $7.5 million budget ensuring departmental cost-efficient spend management.
